Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible?

The controller for this website is:

Erik Bryksin
c/o SourceArt
Fritz-Thiele-Straße 3
28279 Bremen-Obervieland
Germany
support@analyze.tf

This policy applies to analyze.tf. It does not describe the separate community service at zirkuschads.de.

2. Reading the website

You can read articles and item charts without registering. There are currently no public reader accounts, comments, newsletter subscriptions, checkout or advertising trackers.

When you request a page or file, the hosting infrastructure processes your IP address and technical request information, such as the URL, time and browser headers, to deliver the response and maintain security. The website does not maintain a separate access log of every reader request. Operational error logs may contain technical details needed to diagnose a fault; they are size-limited and rotated.

We rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate interests of delivering a reliable website and preventing abuse.

3. Pageview statistics

We operate our own simple pageview counter. It stores only a daily total for each eligible page path, using UTC dates. It does not store reader IP addresses, user identifiers, full browsing histories, query strings or browser fingerprints in the statistics database. The totals count page loads, not unique people.

The browser sends the page path to analyze.tf without cookies. Technical headers and the network address necessarily accompany that request, but are not saved as analytics fields. The counter does not use cookies or local storage. Requests with supported Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded. The statistics are visible only to the administrator.

The purpose is to understand which reporting is read and improve the publication, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Daily aggregate totals may be retained for long-term comparisons; no individual visitor record is created.

4. Hosting and security copies

The website and its database are hosted in Nuremberg, Germany, by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner provides the server infrastructure used to deliver the website and maintain availability. See Hetzner’s privacy information.

Restricted-access backups contain the editorial database, uploaded media and operating configuration. Their purpose is recovery after data loss or a technical incident. Backup copies are not used for analytics or advertising and may temporarily retain information removed from the live system. Access is restricted to authorised administration.

5. Item prices, images and external links

Our server retrieves aggregate item-price information from Skinport and stores measurement history. Visitors do not need a Skinport or Steam account to view the charts. These price requests are made by our server; readers’ IP addresses and browser information are not forwarded to Skinport as part of that collection.

The current item images and website assets are served by analyze.tf. Following a link to Skinport, Steam or another source takes you to that provider’s website, where its own privacy policy applies. There are no embedded trading widgets.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address, message, attachments and any name you provide to handle your enquiry. Our contact mailbox is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner provides the email infrastructure used to receive, store and send our correspondence, including the associated technical delivery data. See Hetzner’s privacy information.

Enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) where necessary for steps towards or performance of a contract. Correspondence is kept while needed to handle the matter and any applicable legal retention or claims obligations. Please do not send sensitive credentials or identity documents by ordinary email.

7. Editorial administration and cookies

Authorised editorial accounts contain a name, email address, role, password hash, authentication information and change timestamps. Articles may contain public author names, credits and information about people covered in the reporting. Editorial revisions and uploaded media are stored to operate the publication.

The restricted editorial interface uses authentication cookies and may store interface preferences. These are separate from ordinary reading of the public site. Accounts are retained while access is required; published content is retained as part of the editorial archive unless corrected or removed. The public reading experience does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Contact the controller using the address above.

You may complain to a supervisory authority, including in the country of your residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. A directory of German data protection authorities is available from the Hessian supervisory authority.

We do not use reader data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Personal data is not required to browse, apart from the technical information needed to deliver your requests.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the website’s features, service providers or processing practices change. The date above identifies this version.
